Changed to a track to an artist whose inspiration sounds halfway between Real Lies and Yves Tumor. A commercial-sounding track whose vocals do not sound very buzzjack friendly tho.

Either way I am choosing between two artists who are new which is refreshing after being drawn to recycling artists lately.

I’ve accidentally ended up entering something that is kinda topical.

I almost withdrew it as I remembered that it is an artist recycle, but have decided to stick as it’s my favourite thing so far from the artist in question

My dilemma is thus - I send something I love, it qualifies and then ends up in the bottom 10. I send something I don't love and it fails to qualify.

Sending something you love sounds like it wins on all metrics there so that might solve your dilemma

Yeah I learnt very early on that trying to win (or just qualify) makes this more stressful on you as an individual. Go with what you're loving as it makes it more enjoyable.

I've reconfirmed to RnB-Pop which... doesn't feel like it has a natural home in BJSC, so we'll see whether I dare to stick with it or not 😂
