It is literally just 2.5 minutes of white noise, which I assume is designed to help people sleep

Has this ever happened before? And why has it happened now, is TikTok somehow to blame?

Such a random entry, and has a slight nostalgic feel haha, reminds me of that era when fake versions of unreleased songs would chart on iTunes in the early 2010s, and sometimes even get into the official chart

It's been lingering for ages, it's chart ineligible from what we can tell!

If I was to give it a placement in my Spotify YTD, it’s definitely within the top 40

It has a peak of #18!!

There was also a different white noise track that similarly hung around in the Spotify chart for some time before this one replaced it for whatever reason so it's been a staple in some form or other for years.

Both of them are sooo getting nominations across the board (Album, Single, Artist) their respective genre category (Sam for Rock and I imagine Olivia for both Pop & R&B, a la Raye) and Best New Artist for Olivia.
