If it gets a 25% increase this week then it should do in theory, it would just depend whether it satisfies some other criteria we can't quite fathom in order for the OCC to actually apply the reset.

What did Blue Weekend open with? I have a vague memory of 30k? Was interested to see if The Clearing would be a step up for them - to 50k or so. Doesn't look like it... unless I've misremembered Blue Weekend.

'Blue Weekend' opened with 36.2k so it's looking like this album will be a slight step down. (Having given it a listen today it's not as good as 'Blue Weekend' imo so fair, still happy to see them heading for a second #1 and still a pretty respectable sales figure).

Glad my memory still works sometimes 😅. Yeah I agree, I don't find this album as outstanding as the 3 before it. Loved the singles, but everything else on the album is along the lines of The Sofa, all good but a little soft and samey
