And if you like, predict their first week sales!Note that the Kylie live album is only digital/streaming, no physicals in that week.
September 9Sep 9 Olivia Dean will be #1.Out of those, I think Robert Plant & Doja Cat will also go Top 5.
September 9Sep 9 Author Definitely Olivia Dean - The Art of Loving at #1 but I have no idea what kind of figure she could be aiming for. Wild guess: 40,000 sales? It's felt like quite the struggle for Perrie to reach the point of releasing her debut album, and I feel it's anyone's guess how she'll perform with it. We've yet to have any indication how a solo Little Mix artist will do seeing as Jade still hasn't released her album yet (out on Friday). Perrie's includes a #10 hit single from April last year, a #52 from October and a recent #44. It'll be interesting to see what level of fanbase Perrie has. I'll predict #4 with 9,000 sales. I could be well off the mark but I find it hard to gauge. Only 5 weeks of pre-order accumulation too which is quite brief.Doja Cat: Planet Her entered at #3 with 9,905 sales, while Scarlet was #5 with 6,076 sales. Both launched with huge hits (Kiss Me More - #3 and Paint the Town Red - #1). One thing that is different for Vie compared to her previous two, is that Vie has a few physical variants up for pre-order. As far as I'm aware Scarlet initially only had one CD release, and Planet Her was digital only at first. So even if the streaming for Vie happens to be down on her previous two albums, the physicals could make up for that. I'll say #5 with 8,500 sales.Zara Larsson's previous two albums didn't perform all that impressively (Poster Girl - #12 - 3,591 sales, and Venus - #15, 5,038 sales). Even though her upcoming album has no charting singles, regardless I feel like the era has somewhat more buzz than the last couple? Zara's been supporting Tate McRae on tour and she's received a lot of attention on social media for that. So... maybe low Top 10 for Midnight Sun? Prediction: #9 with 6,500 sales.I find Mariah Carey hard to predict! She's done a lot of UK promotion over the past month. However she has no official UK artist store, and the album only has one CD and one vinyl here in the UK (despite the USA getting multiple variants). So there's a possibility that a lot of her hardcore fans are going to import the formats they want from the US. This same scenario played out with her previous studio album Caution, with it only having one CD/Vinyl here while the US got more variants. Caution charted at #40 in the UK. I'll be positive and think that Here for It All can do better due to the increased promotion, but I'm not seeing a particularly big splash for it either. I'll say... #18 with around 4,000 sales. Caution sold 3,357 to be #40 (a November 2018 release) so I would hope for a sales improvement and higher position this time. It annoys me that her record labels don't play the formats game with her in the UK.The previous Girls Aloud reissues reached #42 (Sound of the Underground) and #35 (What Will the Neighbours Say?), coincidentally both sold 2,925 copies to achieve those positions. My gut feeling is that Chemistry won't return to the Top 40, but I can see a 41-50 outcome. I'll go with #44, once again with around 2,900 sales (would seem odd to me if they drastically increase or decrease from the last releases).
September 9Sep 9 Yeah Perrie is gonna be tough to predict, Jade is proving to be the biggest of the 3 , and with a rushed campaign (for obvious reasons 🩵) even with that said surely a top 10 still attainable hoping she can do 10k sales Olivia another hard to predict yes she blowing up everywhere but that doesnt always translate to album sales so im gonna guess around 30k but number 1 [watch me be way off and she does well over 50k]
September 9Sep 9 I have a feeling Perrie will have a higher peak than JADE but on less sales. Perrie is definitely the most popular member of LM to casuals so she could be getting some solid impulse buys. I'm so annoyed JADE's team have set her up like this lmao! Grr. (Why wouldn't they have chosen this week to release instead of Ed week? Makes no sense to meeeee but w/e!)I am really, really intrigued to see how far Olivia can go. I think she's going to be a huge hit in the US too! Like, surprisingly so. I think it's just a case of "how high" for her. Number 1 debut and I can see it at about 60k-70k. But having incredible longevity and stability (particularly sales wise). Even with Taylor the following week (I reckon a bit more on the optimistic side and I'll go with 60k-ish opening week #1 and then #2 the following week on sales that would give her a number 1 in pretty much nearly every other week of the year too - that top 3 will probably be Taylor - Olivia - Sabrina!)I'm intrigued about Zara too. A lot of goodwill for her, but I feel like it won't translate into too much more sales for her album tbh. Maybe curiosity streams here and there but I'd probably agree with Jay and say low top 10 with about 6k.Doja Cat will be interesting. I think she'll do enough for a top 5 debut. Her signed vinyl and CD sold out incredibly quick! As for the others... no idea. That's interesting about GA's past re-issues! I kinda want it to get exactly the same for that reason tbh lol. But isn't 'Chemistry' often regarded as their 2nd best album? I can see a bit more interest in this one compared to their debut and 2nd album. Not a lot more, but I think it'll have higher debut sales than the first two re-issues. ROLL ON THE NEXT REISSUE TBH!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! (I'll finally be able to get my hands on a nice 'Tangled Up' vinyl! )Mariah... probably similar to 'Caution' sales tbh.
September 9Sep 9 I’m sensing a Victoria beckham debut album situation for Perrie and fear she’s going to peak at #10 😥Mariah - I feel she’ll go Top 20- #19 or so. Zara - she’s giving me #13 vibesOlivia will nicely secure #1 - I’m guessing with sales of around 50k. Doja could make Top 5 but only just. I think GA will just miss out with their reissue at #41.
September 9Sep 9 I think Olivia is gonna be huge and do crazy figures ala SabrinaThink Perrie and Mariah top 10Doja Cat top 20And sadly Zara missing the top 40

September 9Sep 9 Yeah i cant see Olivia doing ridiculous numbers just yet, she doesnt feel as huge as SC was last year, atm she feels like a female Alex Warren in terms of success, still think number 1 should be doable though
September 9Sep 9 I think she feels quite a bit bigger than Alex Warren, even if he did have 'Ordinary' on his side.
September 9Sep 9 Have to agree to disagree because chart performance wise they both on 3 top 10s by the time the albums were released and both had similar chart success in the UK, Would love to be proven wrong though
September 9Sep 9 I'd be GUTTED for Zara if she missed top 40 with this album, but I guess she's going into it with no hits so it's hard to say. I don't think she'll be top 10 again but hoping & praying for top 20.
September 10Sep 10 Oh please dont compare Olivia with that Alex Warren thing. his success is based on 1 big tiktok hit, which usually translates into poor album physical sales and it did, dont let the figures inflated by Alexas streams fool you! No one cares about Alex warrenOlivia is becoming huge gradually and in a natural way, maybe she wont do 80k but sure she will sell More than the 4k physicals Alex did
September 10Sep 10 As much as im not huge on Alex Warren you cant argue with the facts they had similar tragetories and his success was based on more than 1 hit before the album 🤣🤣
September 10Sep 10 Author Alex Warren did 6,527 physicals, 7,283 pure sales. Also I’m really liking Olivia, but a key factor in Man I Need taking off like it did is TikTok? (What can be considered a “natural way” to become hugely successful, these days?)
September 10Sep 10 Success is fake if its someone they dont like but its legit if its someone they do even if its the exact same way apparently As i already said though I want Olivia to prove me wrong and do huge sales
September 10Sep 10 I think Olivia is helped more by the fact she’s British and has actively built up a fan base in this country since supporting Harry Styles on his last tour. Alex, whilst having a massive hit in this country, I wouldn’t say his fan base felt more UK-centric.When the British media want to give one of their own a boost and a lift off, they really do so, and it feels that way with Olivia Dean at the moment. Then, they love to prey on their downfall in a few albums time x
September 10Sep 10 Dunno yes he's American but id argue his success is actually bigger in the UK than the US so far
