Orson's 2006 single "No Tomorrow" sold 17,694 copies in its sole week at number 1 in the UK, the lowest weekly sale for any UK number 1 ever. Apologies to 1^∞ who came close but gave 2 answers, like in the proper show I have to take your first answer 😁

Call me soft but id of given the points if was me 😅 but the host has spoken and the reason is fair 🩵

Oh dear, Lisaturday Night Fever is an embarassing miss, wrong artist + didn't read the question right! Oops *___

I have terrible facial recognition of most musicians, but it was in my mind for most of it that it was only the last few letters of the word that could be smashed rather than the whole one, Chase & Status Quo is so obvious in retrospect x

Oh no at not recognising the Doors too, annoyed at myself for that x

Looks like there's three of us still on 100% - I'm sure I slipped up later on though. I wasn't completely sure on The Doors but they seemed the most likely answer that fit.

Last question of the day, this one seemed to stump a lot of you! The Orb's "Blue Room" is the longest single to reach the top 40, peaking at number 8 in 1992. The full version is unfortunately unavailable on streaming! I'm happy some of you recognised Deacon Blue as I was finding it hard to find a suitable Blue Room smash when I was making the quiz.

I am enjoying Jahq’s answer to that one!

She did threaten a 24 minute version at 1 point be interesting but it be just as long as the whole TLOAS album🤣🤣

I had no idea that was Beabadoobee. If I'd have got her I think I would automatically have got the Bee Gees!

I weep for dandy*. Artist always comes first in the smash!

I knew my error, sadly just not in time. I typed in Total Eclipse of the Heart first as that’s the part I knew and then spent a while trying to think of a DJ beginning with T - so on balance I’m going to count this one as a good 4 because I wasn’t sure it was actually Tiesto, and was actually lucky that the dj started with T seeing as that part wasn’t the link

DAMN I didn't even think of anyone outside of Meatloaf for that question and knew I'd do anything for love was his only #1! 😭

Ellie Goulding has been credited on 3 top 10 Calvin Harris songs by the OCC (I Need Your Love, Outside, Miracle), making her his most common collaborator on his top 10 hits. Rihanna, Pharrell and Sam Smith are tied for second most common collaborator with 2 top 10 hits with Calvin.

Wow at gooddelta and jim still on 100%. It would be a real shame if they got one wrong now 🤭

My sincerest apologies if the wording of this question threw you off: I was looking for the song that beat Westlife rather than the Westlife song that was beaten to the top. As a compromise I've given out points to anyone who gave "What Makes A Man" as an answer. Told you I didn't have this play-tested!
