I feel confident Olivia will climb ahead of 'Golden', it was even further behind that last week and overtook in the end. Now Olivia's outdoing Taylor on Spotify I'm interested to see if she can challenge for grabbing another week.

It’s my least favourite on his album by far. I find it such a snoozefest and I’m not a fan of Olivia’s voice much anyway but she hasn’t improved it for me. I hate it’s become one of his biggest hits when he has far better that deserves better.

Anyway can the half term please boost ‘What It Sounds Like’ to the top 10! A top 10 peak at this point and I will be satisfied!

I very much echo these thoughts, I still like the song more than any other in the update top 10 but it's very much undeserving of its current chart run... Wish the new one could be there instead!

Interestingly I had an email earlier offering £15 tickets for his wembley show. I was expecting these tickets to all be at the back to fill those gaps - but there are loads of seats all in the front floor block. Wembley was always going to be a stretch for him to fill.

Kinds surprised this hasnt been reported on more by OCC. they had daily pieces out on the all female top 5-7 for various weeks in august-september 2023.

I guess because it’s some combination of multiple Taylor, Olivia & Huntr/x songs make it less newsworthy? (plus the one raye song).

Surprised to see Tame Impala selling so little albums. It's similar in the US too, where their opening is down 30% compared to previous album.

At least for the US, Tame’s last album was released before Billboard stopped counting tour ticket/album bundles - which has led to lots of bands having smaller opening weeks since.

I hope TLDP can score their second number 1 album. If not, I hope Dave can put an end to Taylor’s run at the top
