Posted October 23Oct 23 Served up on a plate in your restaurant is the Mousse T. This was a #9 hit in August 2004, the German DJ’s 3rd Top 10 hit after “Horny” and “Sex Bomb”. British singer Emma Lanford provided the vocals on this and some other Mousse T singles, and they were the only time she graced the charts.3rd: Mousse T featuring Emma Lanford - Is It ‘Cos I’m Cool? 17/31 votes (55%)4th: Charlotte Church - Call My Name 12/30 votes (30%)5th: Eve featuring Alicia Keys - Gangsta Lovin’ 12/26 votes (46%)6th: Esmée Denters - Outta Here 11/28 votes (39%)7th: Five - Don’t Wanna Let You Go (12/27 votes (44%)8th: The Script - We Cry 8/28 votes (29%)9th: Nickelback - Rockstar 11/31 votes (35%)10th: Orson - Bright Idea 8/27 votes (30%)
October 23Oct 23 Neither of these are major favourites for me but chose Divine Inspiration, quite an uplifting trance song
October 23Oct 23 Train. A beautiful ballad indeed with gorgeous production and instrumentation.I was quite taken by Divine Inspiration when it came out as the opening piano reminded me a bit of Set You Free, but I wouldn't say it's one I seek out to listen to a lot.Glad, and surprised, that Mousse T made the top three!
October 23Oct 23 Drops of Jupiter quite comfortably. Despite it being from what's essentially my least favourite genre of music (usually 00s, male fronted, predominantly US, played-to-death, AOR) I've always loved it, even remember buying the CD single.
October 23Oct 23 Train to win, it's their best song and has an ageless quality compared to most other AOR songs from around this time.
October 23Oct 23 Great top 2 here, impressed Divine made it to the final 2 mind but it's a nice dance track.. however Train is by quite some distance ahead for me so voting them to win!
October 24Oct 24 Both great, the correct final 2. Voted Train as it's held the test of time very well.
