Sam Ryder definitely has a video for his, not sure about the others.

I don't think this song reinvents the wheel musically, nor does it need to as a Christmas novelty/exclusive, but it does something very obvious that I don't think has been done before in spelling out X M A S like a cheerleader along with the hand dance routine to spell out each letter individually, and then repeating that ad nauseum.

Sometimes doing something actually very obvious that somebody hasn't yet thought of is the way to sticking in people's heads in a crowded and established market like Christmas music. Surprised Steps never did it back in their heyday.

Fan made vids already on youtube. This isn't a real contender for number 1 but the timing of the physical release makes me think Kylie will get another top 10, it is catchy enough. Interesting to see how the album fairs. New release possibly because 25% of it is new tracks? or because it has been announced as an anniversary album will it be treated as that?

I know the obvious answer, it isn't new, but with the way OCC applies rules wily nily you never know

Hoping she can do 6k of physics, 1k of downloads and how many streams......

I’m not sure what to think of XMAS yet, it’s very infectious and I feel like kids will love it, so I think they’ve been clever with the choice, but I don’t think it’s one most Kylie fans will love.

Christmas Isn’t Christmas Till You Get Here is still the one for me.

I think the difference with Kylie is that she has a very dedicated fanbase who will help on release if it's close, there's 3 physical variants, she always has general public support, Her Jingle Bell Ball performance will more than likely be televised and I'm sure she will be doing the rounds all over TV promoting.

If anyone can secure a Christmas number 1 it would be her and her team. I just hope they're hungry for it and push it on release week with an acoustic / remix etc...Sam Ryder Had an extra download released midweek If I remember correctly so that's not out of the question and hopefully they have a few tricks up their sleeves to help.

If she can do 3k in the UK on a 5k limited run on a 7” only available from her website I’m confident she’ll do more than 6k with a triple format not limited to ridiculous numbers and available on Amazon release.

Have a look in the sales archives in the main forum - you can look up Christmas week album and singles charts.

it is a bit weird the CD single is not showing anywhere on Amazon best sellers or even ranked. must be a glitch as i bought 2 copies myself.

vinyls are 4 and 5 on best selling list but thats probably 20 each lol.

surely free p&p would mean more would get sold on Amazon than her website which usually charges ridiculous prices?

This happens often. I’m sure it’s because it’s not been linked properly so it doesn’t show on any chart.

I find it hard to believe it wouldn’t at least be top 100 / charting at all.
