I downloaded the 59p download from her site, if I download it from Amazon too with the same card and address will that count as 1 or 2 sales?

My Zoetrope vinyl is gorgeous and at £20 it’s crazy that’s just 1 sale. People complaining about Alexa spam etc (fair criticism but the streaming marketplace is a scam anyway) don’t consider this 5k plus physical sales figure is at least £50k in revenue….more than 50,000 downloads!

The physical figure is from the MW report and download figure from SH.

It could be her store downloads haven’t been submitted yet (if the figure quoted is correct).

And agree on the physicals point - my bundle cost £38 (and £7.50 delivery) so the fact she’s shifted nearly 6k is immense.

Potentially we can do so much collective fan damage with the many download options, for very little outlay. Do understand not everyone wants to part with cash but we can all stream the Kylie Christmas output on a loop on different devices. Just go batshit crazy with it ha ha.

It’s funny how downloads were so prevalent until ten years ago but in general no amount of cajoling can generate a fraction of what we used to buy. Streaming has totally taken over and it’s only recently the physicals have made a small comeback.

Amazon will have this at Number 1 tomorrow. They are gradually moving it up playlists etc. They know what they are doing!

Exactly - they started out slowly and are gradually moving it up and up, fully expecting them to go full blown Alexa spam tomorrow.

They will want a Christmas #1 as much as Kylie and the fans do.

This is what I was hoping for, the fact they seemed to be slacking before this week compared to previous years had me slightly worried in parts that they wouldn't!
