For sure! I was so disappointed River snatched the #1 at a time when Mariah still hadn't managed it herself. Although after a few years of these Amazon exclusives I've softened towards them, seeing as without them the Christmas chart would be a bit less exciting.

Yeah they aren't linked to the chart I guess it doesn't really matter because the link to buy are being shared in the groups etc and I doubt many casuals will buy by looking at the charts. It would be nice to see how it's doing though

It happens all the time with their charts - the only plus is I can’t imagine many people seeking out the Amazon MP3 charts!

I've purchased all 6 physicals (one of each from Amazon / Kylie.com) Although, the Amazon one's are all creased / bent etc so I'm just returning those next week no point in having two sets to be honest and I've done all the download options once.

I will just keep streaming on my UK vpn and hope it helps. I really want her to have this number 1 now

I bought Listen without prejudice in 1990 and loved it at the time but it wasn’t until Self Esteem’s version of Praying for time that I realised just how far ahead of its time the song was lyrically.

Back to Kylie - my Alexa won’t play the extended mix, it does play the regular version, I’m a prime member rather Amazon music subscriber. Is the extended only available if you pay more? Or am I saying the wrong prompt?!?

its always like that. Its a strange one. I remember looking for other Kylie songs in release week etc and not finding it. Some random stuff on there too It most definitely will be

Wham are not going to surge in streams because LC always basically a day behind. Kylie will have bigger Amazon streams every day as she's on SCR.

The interesting thing I find, disregarding I am a Kylie fan, that the xmas number 1 is being decided on the estimate of thursday, a clear week before Xmas day. Not even official data. Seems so strange

The Christmas chart doesn't run to Christmas day it's the chart week before Christmas day.

Thursday's streams are always estimated so while it's unfair it's the same every week so everyone's equal in terms of that.

It was worth a shot hopefully it'll pay off. The last time I bet on the Christmas number 1 was Rockabye.

I just had a feeling with Kylie her team know's exactly what to do at every point which is shown how they've handled this but obviously still not a dead cert by any means.
