Today feels like a deciding day - wether we’re ‘safe’ or they need to unleash 100 downloads cheeseblock

I panicked last week when the Fully wrapped download dropped. It was all hands on deck😂

IV WON THE AMAZON MUSIC KYLIE COMPETITION 😭😭😭😭 The December 12th event for the premier of the video with Kylie 😭

  • Smiley Kylie… it’s literally been 6 years of following how Amazon Christmas exclusives do in the chart, and the trajectory is more or less the same every time. It’s abundantly clear by now that the ke

I think it actually works in Kylie’s favour not being on iTunes - other fanbases have zero visibility of how the single is performing on downloads, the Amazon chart hasn’t updated and there is no chart for her webstore, if they’d be on ITunes and clogging up the Top 10 I think we’d of had a stronger reaction/campaign from Wham fans.

Something else positive to note is she’s been stable at #3 on the app chart since Monday!

We will have a clearer picture later, but last week Wham did 2.75 times their Monday midweek for the final chart.

Applying that to their midweek sales this Monday it would take them to 48k so I’d say that’s the minimum Kylie needs to do.

It’s a bit frustrating as we don’t know if they’ve held back reporting sales for Kylie as they clearly did last week when the album sold an additional 3k at the last moment.

I feel like there isn't any particular reasons why XMAS physical sales would be reported too slowly, as it's just the versions available from her store or Amazon since pre-order. I think Kylie Christmas had two reasons why it ended up being the case that sales were reported quite late: the late addition of the pop-up store vinyl to her online store, or most likely the signed copies from Banquet (and they can be very slow to get things processed and dispatched - to the point that sometimes they even miss the cut off for the first sales week).

Pulled ahead of Wham! 😀 8.8k ahead....

Phewwwwwww fans need to assemble because they'll narrow the gap I'm sure! Clearly a huge download boost yesterday but she still isn't safe just yet

cheeseblockYou just can't underestimate Kylie and her fanbase!

It would be great to have a break down in physicals / downloads / streaming so we can have an idea of how much she's likely left to add in streaming.

On this day last year Tom Grennan was midweek #4 with 27,554, while Wham! was midweek #1 with 39,294.

More incentive for any one of the fanbase to download if they’ve yet to, plus stream to make sure every angle covered.

We want to win this by a margin in case the streaming lag swallows up the gap.

That makes sense because remember Wham! had over 6k physicals last year (Most likely would of been frontloaded) and they're down streaming wise on last year

Omg 38k!!! 😭😭❤️❤️❤️

Including the latest midweek figure, have we got an idea of what XMAS has sold in total so far?

Can't help feeling it's the happiness and uplifting joy of the song thats carrying it all the way. Crying over lost love is out and dancing in the snow is in :D

85,711 (if we're calling 38,600 an accurate figure)

Thank you! So this covers its sales achieved since 21st November, but it was released on 5th November! I just looked back on the thread and @Liam.k. had an estimate for the first couple of weeks of its availability being 8k, so perhaps we can say 93k-94k at this point? Hopefully when all is said and done XMAS will be able to go Silver before the Christmas period is over!

(Assuming XMAS actually peaks at #1) it would be interesting if it went Silver this year and did it in just 2 months, in the same year that her previous #1 single Slow went Silver... which took 22 years to achieve. drama
