12 hours ago12 hr I think it actually works in Kylie’s favour not being on iTunes - other fanbases have zero visibility of how the single is performing on downloads, the Amazon chart hasn’t updated and there is no chart for her webstore, if they’d be on ITunes and clogging up the Top 10 I think we’d of had a stronger reaction/campaign from Wham fans.

12 hours ago12 hr We will have a clearer picture later, but last week Wham did 2.75 times their Monday midweek for the final chart.Applying that to their midweek sales this Monday it would take them to 48k so I’d say that’s the minimum Kylie needs to do. It’s a bit frustrating as we don’t know if they’ve held back reporting sales for Kylie as they clearly did last week when the album sold an additional 3k at the last moment.
11 hours ago11 hr Author I feel like there isn't any particular reasons why XMAS physical sales would be reported too slowly, as it's just the versions available from her store or Amazon since pre-order. I think Kylie Christmas had two reasons why it ended up being the case that sales were reported quite late: the late addition of the pop-up store vinyl to her online store, or most likely the signed copies from Banquet (and they can be very slow to get things processed and dispatched - to the point that sometimes they even miss the cut off for the first sales week).

So this covers its sales achieved since 21st November, but it was released on 5th November! I just looked back on the thread and @Liam.k. had an estimate for the first couple of weeks of its availability being 8k, so perhaps we can say 93k-94k at this point? Hopefully when all is said and done XMAS will be able to go Silver before the Christmas period is over!(Assuming XMAS actually peaks at #1) it would be interesting if it went Silver this year and did it in just 2 months, in the same year that her previous #1 single Slow went Silver... which took 22 years to achieve.
