It still feels weird to me that a 5-track EP is going to #1 on the albums chart. I can't think of any other EPs which have charted highly on the albums chart. Are there many?

Sabrina's Fruitcake EP was top 5 last year, can't really think of any other examples...

Go on RAYE!

I still think she has a chance at #1 this side of Christmas if she manages to stay on SCR if Taylor goes to ACR. The highest Christmas songs were generally doing 45-50k the first couple weeks in December last year. If they remain similar this year then it's possible RAYE could get a week at #1.

Not a conspiracy but a fact. I’ve seen people on Facebook an twitter talking about it

That’s if they don’t decide to reset Ophelia despite her being due for ACR and not being forced onto it by the Christmas rush

Her last SCR week will literally be during December…

That’s what I mean. Because she’s due for ACR in December, they’ll see it as her going to ACR because of the Christmas rush even though it ain’t. Saying that, they have reset songs in January that went to ACR in November; Somedays for example

i think it’s just a blanket rule for December, I am struggling to see your point of there being a difference or how Christmas songs push songs onto acr?

Leave him to it just goes round in circles and now throwing out conspiracy theories because Facebook said so 🙈

Anyways Man I Need/Golden will probably also get reseated in NYD and those will probably be the bigger threat for Raye

Man I Need's been on ACR for a while so isn't in line for a reset, and Golden's likely just missed the window

They more than likely won't be reset, it's usually only songs that go to ACR in December that get reset (though Somedays was an exception at the start of the year for some reason)

Because in December, people don’t focus much on regular songs as they’re too focused on Christmas songs causing the regular songs to lose streams

I could see songs that go to ACR this week getting reset but I think (hope) that Golden has gone a week too early.

Man I Need was definitely too early.

The rule for ACR resets after Christmas should be that if a song is due for ACR before December and hits ACR in December, then it should count as being forced onto ACR by the Christmas rush but not if the song is due for ACR in December

I don't see the difference quite honestly, this feels like a non-issue?

Its ok not to like artists or songs you know, you dont gave to demand a rule change every time you dont like one though 🙄

I don’t like Golden or Ordinary but if they went to ACR in December, I’d understand them getting a reset in January because they were due for ACR before December. I like Somedays but I disagreed with its January reset

So basically your saying old songs should be allowed the reset but fresher songs shouldn't 😆

No. I’m saying that songs that go to ACR in December when they are due for ACR in December shouldn’t be getting reset and songs that go to ACR in December when they are due for ACR before December should be getting reset
