I guess none of the 80s songs used in Stranger Things S5 are having anything even close to the impact that Kate Bush did in S4 then! Would have been cool to see 'Upside Down' or 'I Think We're Alone Now' to have a little bit of a resurgence.

Think that will have been our last day of non-Xmas #1s now. Expecting Wham will go to #1 on today’s update and then we’re in December.

To be fair part of the season releasing late November also means the Christmas songs are slightly masking any boosts. I suspect some people (like myself) are also waiting to binge watch it once it's all aired. The finale is Dec 31st so the Christmas songs will be gone and we may see a song or two get a big boost (if there's any big moments with a song being used in the final episode!).

oh completely agree, it was moreso a comment on how the series takes inbetween airing than else, for example, the last time ST aired new episodes, Taylor Swift’s most recently studio album was ‘Evermore’
