People keep shortening PinkPantheress to Pink and it takes me a minute to realise they're not talking about P!nk lol

Yeah I get that they want people to perform the biggest hits of the year rather than new music but I feel like back in the day there was a lot more new music performed and I'm not sure when/why it changed. Take That actually debuted 'Back For Good' at the Brits!

I feel like established artists have a bit more room to play with for this. I think Coldplay opened the BRITs a few years ago with Higher Power which was either pre-release or in the week of release.

I can well imagine Harry Styles may have the same grace and perform a new track, if he wishes.

But I tend to find that newer artists and artists who are nominated heavily for their input in the previous year are pushed to perform the songs that they’re nominated for. For Olivia, she’s had a few hits to be fair, so her doing So Easy (To Fall In Love) isn’t a ridiculous shout as it’s a huge hit of its own but I also expect she’ll be advised to do her biggest breakthrough hit in some form, maybe as a medley. The same for Alex Warren - I imagine they’ll want him to perform a representation of 2025, which is the biggest selling song of that year.

Pinkpantheress wins producer! So deserved. She has to take best dance act home too now surely?

  • I mean I don’t disagree that the song is boring and I don’t want it to get a reset but you guys do sometimes forget that the BRITS are a celebration of the year that has just passed and not a “what ca

I think Pink and Calvin/Clementine will be the last two performers, Pink will do a Tonight/Illegal/Stateside medley and Calvin/Clementine will do Blessings.

Next time can you use the whole name got excited thought the actual Pink was performing 🤣🤣

Do we really need two repeat performances of the grammys? Yeah they didn't have a lot of time being a medly but its just going to be boring if Olivia + Alex perform the exact same song they did a month ago

Well considering Grammys is an American awards show and The Brits is well British the percentage overlap that actually watches both will ne very small so why shouldn't they 🤣

BAFTAs were already late… it was an editorial choice to keep it in 🤷‍♂️

She’s the type that I can imagine them granting a “perform what you want” slot to because she only really has Where Is My Husband attached to the year in celebration.

If her new single is a big ballad, it could well be an Adele moment they’re searching for.

Surprised Sam Fender isn’t performing at all though.

Surely he's gotta at least appear on stage when Olivia does her performance?

No no, Hadji said she can't perform that song so she isn't going to

Good news for those of us hoping Raye will perform the new one cheeseblock

Wanted Lily Allen to perform 🥲

Was hoping she’d ride the wave of a great performance and win but I wonder if she’ll even attend.
