The OCC obviously can't change anything, they just to display the data they receive, but it seems their fingers are crossed for Kylie.

Having the same number one for 3 years in a row mustn't be good for their PR!

  • The last time the FCP thread got more than 22 pages was June 2023... probably not a coincidence that a certain song with 'Padam' in the title twice was fighting for a top ten place that week

Everyone is excited (for a god awful song) for Kylie but let’s all wait for the week 2 drop cos all you guys be buying this week only hahaha! Ellie 2.0

Kylie’s streaming sales this week will be roughly on a par with Brenda’s last year.

So I feel the two of them will be battling it out for 3rd place in the streaming chart this week.

And next week it could go either way: on the one hand Christmas classics might do better, on the other hand Amazon exclusives will take more of a priority (as discussed on countless occasions).

It'll likely get two weeks at the top if it does it this week, and then a 1-out (same as every other Christmas song - so it's hardly something to be ashamed of)

XMAS is hardly rubbish. It's a good catchy Christmas song with a great video and some easy choreography. You'd struggle to name any Christmas songs that people don't think are naff outside of Christmas - especially the classics that were even naffer back when they were first released!

‘Last Christmas’ should remain top 40 this year, so I imagine Kylie might as well.
