Both brilliant singles from the premier girlbands of the 00s, but 'Long Hot Summer' is genuinely one of their best for me.

Denial. Long Hot Summer sounds better to me these days, but still sounds a bit cobbled together, but not in the good way Girls Aloud singles usually are.

I would've voted for 'Denial' up until a couple of years ago but 'Long Hot Summer' has really grown on me now, went for that

For the first time two best songs did the final.

Denial is the best Sugababes single, miles ahead the others.

'Long Hot Summer' gets my vote.

I wasn't expecting this for a top 2. Both songs are far from each respective groups best singles too.
