Great to see 'Stan' and 'Whatever' already scoring lots of points from people D

That Jason Donovan song is a particular guilty pleasure of mine wub (as are a few of his songs actually lol)

I'm surprised Band Aid isn't picking up more points, I thought that was really well liked on here.

I wonder if more people would have voted for Erasure if they realised that the lead song on that EP was the brilliant 'Stop!'

Overall a very good collection of songs!

Yes those were the ones I found it hardest to rank here, maybe because I still think of them more as 1s or #2s? Perhaps I should have left the Pogues out like you did, that way I could have fitted Jona Lewis or Culture Club into my 20 (which I’m regretting leaving out now 😆)!

68th: 0 points

I Still Believe - Ronnie Hilton (1954)

Chart run: 27/11/1954 17-9-10-{3}-3-3-6-4-5-4-11-12-19-20->14

Christmas number one: Let's Have Another Party - Winifred Atwell

Christmas number two: Santo Natale - David Whitfield

We start with the first of 5 songs to not get any points. The first of 18 top 40 hits for Yorkshireman Ronnie Hilton, "I Still Believe" spent 3 weeks at number 3, the last of those being on the Christmas chart. It's perfectly listenable but quite boring as most 50s ballads are to me, those "dodododododo" backing vocals are pretty amusing though!
