It might for 1 week but that doesn't really affect the long-haul prospects for RMI

The top track from Drake's last solo album did 27.7k in its first week and his name power is significantly diminished since then, he'll need to have a song go viral very quickly to get #2 even with the low bar for that right now. He hasn't had a UK #1 since 2020, I'm sure he could get there again one day with the right song but he's very far from being in the conversation for assuming he'll get #1 first week with a new release.

It all depends on how Drakes album hits with the public. He has been slowly decreasing in popularity

Even if he does no guarantees it would be a long runner noone expected Harry Styles or Olivia Rodrigo to only be 1 week wonders but even they are falling off quicker than expected

The annoying thing about Rein Me In is that any contender that has a chance of knocking it off is so much worse than it! Would rather the all-time record be broken than Dr*ke or Gr*cie overtake it
