August 22Aug 22 Sales only count as they are, DCL is decided based on streams only, so unless it affects the streaming (unlikely), the sales could be massive (again unlikely), but it'd still go to ACR unless streaming increases. Edited August 22Aug 22 by braindeadpj

Part of the reason it's been consistently back to SCR over the years is that after its release Gaga went through an album campaign and earlier this year Bruno went through one - both of which boosted the song/kept it higher for longer. Plus their subsequent tours boosted the song as well. Gaga and Bruno don't seem to have anything that will boost it soon... Although watch them announce a collab album or something with it included.
August 24Aug 24 The main reason is simply because it's so incredibly easy for a song to go back on SCR and then incredibly difficult for it to then go back on ACR. It's also the sort of song that could get a boost from anywhere really, big winter advert, something random on TikTok and then boom 6 more months on SCR easily 🤣
August 28Aug 28 Tbf Gaga herself has done nothing to promote DWAS since her tour ended, and the tour was in the UK almost a year ago. And she never really takes advantage of the potential viral trends anyway. Paparazzi is getting its best streaming weeks on Spotify at the moment and her team is doing nothing to boost it further.

August 28Aug 28 Sad to see Ariana on ACR. Although with Ariana and Sam/Olivia going to ACR it should make it easier for Dolly to reach new peaks with her songs next week!
