Good to see the Scum focusing on the important stories with everything that’s going on in the world. We shall let them live in ignorant bliss about the chart performance.

Can we specify the Big Top 40 when you mention this, given it's not the official chart...!

ah I see it's culture war nonsense to promote the Australian One Nation party

we'd have been better off making the Turkish original version a hit instead

Holly has broken two decades of musical silence for this?

I actually thought it was a parody that somebody had uploaded under her name as a joke when I first heard it. Sadly not.

Agreed. These six songs plus Never Forget are the holy grail. I liked the third episode of the documentary in particular because those years since the comeback are less documented than the 90s era. But for about five years from 2006-2011 they were absolutely untouchable and rightly so. I really miss Jason being in the band (Robbie less so but I did love the Progress era).

Kelly wub Such a gorgeous song and I keep watching the clip of her and Amanda singing it every time it appears on my Tik Tok.

1 NEW Bruce Springsteen - Streets of Minneapolis

2 +52 Ricci G & N.Jay - Walk Away (feat. Robyn Hart)

Listen to the lyrics of Bruce's song. All about King Trump and his ICE agents. Great!

EDIT

[Verse 1]

Through the winter's ice and cold

Down Nicollet Avenue

A city aflame fought fire and ice

'Neath an occupier's boots

King Trump's private army from the DHS

Guns belted to their coats

Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law

Or so their story goes

[Verse 2]

Against smoke and rubber bullets

In the dawn's early light

Citizens stood for justice

Their voices ringing through the night

And there were bloody footprints

Where mercy should have stood

And two dead, left to die on snow-filled streets

Alex Pretti and Renee Good

[Chorus]

Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice

Singing through the bloody mist

We'll take our stand for this land

And the stranger in our midst

Here in our home, they killed and roamed

In the winter of '26

We'll remember the names of those who died

On the streets of Minneapolis

[Verse 3]

Trump's federal thugs beat up on

His face and his chest

Then we heard the gunshots

And Alex Pretti lay in the snow dead

Their claim was self-defense, sir

Just don't believe your eyes

It's our blood and bones

And these whistles and phones

Against Miller and Noem's dirty lies

[Chorus]

Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice

Crying through the bloody mist

We'll remember the names of those who died

On the streets of Minneapolis

[Bridge]

Now they say they're here to uphold the law

But they trample on our rights

If your skin is black or brown, my friend

You can be questioned or deported on sight

In our chants of "ICE out now"

Our city's heart and soul persists

Through broken glass and bloody tears

On the streets of Minneapolis

[Chorus]

Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice

Singing through the bloody mist

Here in our home, they killed and roamed

In the winter of '26

We'll take our stand for this land

And the stranger in our midst

We'll remember the names of those who died

On the streets of Minneapolis

We'll remember the names of those who died

On the streets of Minneapolis

[Outro]

ICE out (ICE out)

ICE out (ICE out)

ICE out (ICE out)

ICE out (ICE out)

ICE out (ICE out)

ICE out

Still can’t believe that Holly Valance song exists (although it’s been removed from iTunes now). Forgetting anything about the lyrical content why is she trying to squeeze as many words as she possibly can in?

Intriguing that it's been removed from iTunes! Do we know why exactly?

They really need to capitalise asap and get a version together out there! What a beaut <3
