Looks like this will be Katy's next release, which is already registered. The track is co-written by her, alongside Eren Cannata, Daniel J. Crean, Jason Gill, Amanda Renee Ibanez, Skyler Stonestreet and Justin Drew Tranter.

  • The AI slop music video not even being able to make a joke properly with 'read between the headlies' It's alright. Slight bop, but overall pretty forgettable.

  • The song is not too bad but it’s very generic and the lyrics are not good. The video is horrendously stupid though. Jesus saved ha!!1!!1

Okay I'll bite, hopefully this can't be as bad as her last several releases.

Confirmed by reliable source that it will be out next Friday. Let's see whether they stick with this or not.

I have heard Watch it Burn and it is a lot better than anything she has released since the Smile era, thankfully. I don't really see her ever getting a hit again but I think this song will bring her a bit more goodwill with pop fans. It's very Part of Me/Hot N Cold coded. And has a great chorus and outtro, even if it does feel admittedly a bit nostalgia-bait dated.

The snippet she’s uploaded on TT sounds SO GOOD! I could it see potentially doing something off the back of her catalogue streaming well and it sounding extremely catchy without being cringe!!

Bandaids was by far the best thing she has done since Never Really Over and I’m sad that didn’t manage to become even close to successful, although with how much she did her reputation in within the last few years I can’t be too surprised. Hope this can be just as good!

She performed the song live at a show and it’s not that great (her voice isn’t all that great on it although it may be better in studio version) but it sounded pretty dated and not too dissimilar from some of her earlier work just watered down.
