Posted Sunday at 19:001 day Lady BuzzJack has been kidnapped from the homepage of BuzzJack, held captive in a location unknown.It's time for Pop Fleet 26 to assemble to find her and return her to the homepage before time runs out and her captors attempt to erase her before her 20th birthday celebrations.Three teams will assemble and separate to cover all bases - the Solo Men, the Solo Women and the Groups - until eventually teams no longer matter, to find and defeat the evil through the power of pop music.The Pop Factor in a nutshell:If you're unfamiliar with Season 1 of The Pop Factor and how it worked, you can read one of Season 1's Auditions threads here.At each stage of the competition, artists from each team will battle it out to secure their place in the next round and continue on the mission to find Lady BuzzJack, before coming together in one big group as we touch down on the final planets.When you enter the Pop Detection Unit and register your artist for Pop Fleet 26 you'll be responsible for their fate in the competition, selecting their song for each round. There will be themed rounds this season, so how will you play it? Will you take risks? Will you play it safe to make sure you reach the next planet? Time (and space) will tell.IMPORTANT: Season 2 of The Pop Factor will be completely anonymous - meaning that the identity of the member behind each artist will/should not be revealed. Because you all know we love a good twist...The Pop Factor will be judged by the members of BuzzJack. Anybody can get involved in each round even if you decide not to enter.GuidanceYour chosen artist/group must not have an Artist Forum on BuzzJack or be blacklisted (see above).Your chosen artist/group must have a discography comprising at least 10-12 songs.Your chosen artist/group must be credited as the main artist or only featured artist of any songs chosen.If you are unable to submit a song in any round for your artist/group one will be chosen for you.The bounty on offer for finding and returning Lady BuzzJack, you say?In the absence of Lady BuzzJack herself being able to offer a prize to the winner of The Pop Factor besides gratitude should she be found unharmed, the winner of Season 2 of The Pop Factor will be rewarded with a unique piece of space debris* that was recovered following Blue Origin's sub-orbital flight to space...*UK/NI only.
