There could be more slots opened up but then increase the eliminations per round? Not that I'm a fan of that but if it means keeping to a schedule...

Yeah series one was free choice! I think that decision was made so artists with smaller discographies weren't disadvantaged.

The format of this was spot on for me so can't wait for the new series to kick off ❤️

I do think an effort should be made to include as many participants as possible but you must admit that's one of the fastest times for an event to fill up completely on BuzzJack.

Edit: Also I'm pretty sure @vibe was a semi-finalist last time and so they deserve to feature again after a stellar performance.

I mean it didn't drop suddenly, there was a notice period and you can't please everyone, if you're not fast you're last 🤷🏼‍♀️

Really intrigued to see what people thought.

Tbh, I'm willing to drop out as I'd say there are people who want to take part more than me. I know very little about this, I didn't read the previous threads in full, I'm not very active in the Pop forum in general, and the artist I chose is an artist I really like but I'm not that familiar with all of their work yet so I'm not sure if that would be any kind of hindrance. Also, while I'd say most of their work would fit under the pop umbrella, some of it might lean towards other labels so again, I'm not sure if that would affect anything.

Sorry for any potential inconvenience but if it helps someone else get in who's more interested then I really don't mind at all.

There's no need for anybody to pull out, everybody that expressed an interest in participating is guaranteed that. If people dropped out and space(s) became available for anyone that's not yet registered that would be unfair on anyone that's had to go with their back-up or another choice if a category was already filled too.
