March 22Mar 22 Finally can take my mask off It was fun btw, even though never have I expected Cruel Summer to be their death in this game lol. And I’ve actually confirmed Happy Nation instead as well, but then I was like, no that’s too early and I’ll save it for later lol

But Harry, you're forgiven because you gave us life with In My Blood as Shawn's swansong in the competition. A strong showing for Harry managing to carry Shawn through four rounds before being given the boot by BuzzJack's unforgiving-to-twinks nature, so well done. Toni Braxton was mentored by vibe who made it all the way to the final in Season 1 with Mary J. Blige so it's a shame to see them not make it quite so far this time, especially when we were treated to Un-Break My Heart in the most recent round. And finally, Ansel... I fear you gave up towards the end given the barrage of abuse The 1975 were subject to throughout the competition, and honestly it was sad to see. Ansel made it all the way to Live Shows last season with CHVRCHES, but it seemed The 1975 were just too marmite to stick the landing this time. But I'm still intrigued to know who your dissertation was about if it was not actually The 1975... All three of you did amazing this season, so thank you
March 22Mar 22 Shame Shawn exited when he did - especially when he had Treat You Better, Mercy and a load of other songs to use Edited March 22Mar 22 by ElectroBoy
March 22Mar 22 OMG! Harry being behind Shawn is a gag!! I honestly thought it was Calum and he threw himself under the bus with that penultimate song choice. (sorry Harry! you redeemed yourself with that last pick x).Toni could only be vibe. He loves his 90s R&B divas going by his sig and repped last year so thought it was a given. That means two of last year's top 5 are out with vibe and Addy gone.

March 22Mar 22 Shawn One of my favourite artists. I think you did a good job with those selections Harry, I'm particularly glad that In My Blood had its moment in the most recent round seeing as it's my favourite song by him!Toni Braxton is wonderful, great choices from her throughout and there was still a lot left in the tank!I do like The 1975, particularly their poppier side and that was well represented here!
March 22Mar 22 Hi 👀I couldn't help but notice a shocking lack of respect for "The Visionary" Nadia Oh in this game - the first girl playing moombahton to the pop kids, the woman who set the blueprint for the pop bangers we know and love today (you think BRAT would've existed without Nadia? Listen to "Amsterdam" and think again!). No artist has been able to master the art of giving everything while giving us nothing at all like our ice cold queen. I demand a wildcard spot so Nadia can freely romp to the victory she's clearly been robbed of!(ik it sounds like i'm shitposting but I'd like to clarify I've been unironically jamming out to Nadia Oh's discography during this competition - if you're craving some dead-eyed girly pop bangers then it's time to get "Hot Like Wow" and "Colours" on your rotation PRONTO. Quick shoutout to some of her other catalogue highlights like Got Your Number, My Egyptian Lover, Amsterdam, S.E.X., Colours and Slapper (Ayye) - all of those and more I've considered sending at some point x) ❤️
March 22Mar 22 Genuinely made some good discoveries (and rediscoveries) from The 1975, and though it was a random selection I didn't remember If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know) sounding so good!

Honestly, I think CowTzy has done an absolutely incredible job in this competition defying the odds (as have all three artists in this section - some iconic underdog behaviour from all three). LiSA's bangers were just simply going unnoticed against the rest of the competition, but we still got to hear six fantastic songs from an artist that the majority of the site would otherwise probably never pay attention to. We turn to Rob then who felt like he was going to be gone at the first hurdle after failing to secure a solo female spot (no points for guessing who we'd have had in the competition instead x), but ended up having a serious underdog arc with Eric Saade, even coming third in the vote at one point with It's Gonna Rain. You did amazing here. And finally, Herbs is, of course, behind The Chicks. The Chicks had a bit of a rough journey through the competition almost always being towards the bottom of the leaderboard but had a moment in the sun with Not Ready to Make Nice, and stuck it out all the way to Judges' Houses and bowed out on a high with Top of the World, an apt title!
March 22Mar 22 Thanks to all who showed The Chicks support. I was hoping to last a couple of rounds so outdid expectations (especially with Lullaby as all my fave Chicks songs were singles!) Sorry Addy and Ansel for knocking you out!
March 22Mar 22 Rob thank you for the Eric Saade discoveries I made along the way I should check out the album with popular on as a beginning point
March 22Mar 22 Thanks to everyone who kept LiSA survive up to this stage so I could send 6 of her bops! 'Here are our final present, and the first line of the song couldn’t be more fitting x
March 22Mar 22 I must admit I knew (to a high degree of certainty) LiSA was Cow as soon as the artist threads went up, so I saw both a good opportunity to do a little deflection, confusion and chaos, and I estimated that I appreciated LiSA a lot in comparison to how I expected Buzzjack to receive her, hence a bit of relentless stanning. Very glad she got this far, she did amazingly and managed to show off some great songs of her, some of which I knew but some I didn't, hence had I been piloting her you'd have seen a few different choices, I'd have probably tried to bring back Ichiban No Takaramono for one xDid motivate me to finally go and listen to some of her albums, her most played songs for me are by far her pre-Gurenge anime themes.Just now, CowTzy said:Thanks to everyone who kept LiSA survive up to this stage so I could send 6 of her bops!
