March 16Mar 16 Just got in and catching up with this... that was a brutal round! The Weeknd losing by such a huge margin is the biggest shock for me but as others have said, the Abba song was just too iconic and would have trounced probably every other song, so it's just bad luck to be drawn against that. Not that my vote sways things but I'm also down for option A. (Now watch Calum bring the 3 twinks back regardless of how the voting goes )

March 17Mar 17 DNot sure I’m a fan of double elims in general (one is alright and spices things up a bit) so more rounds of them… isn’t appealing to me tbh.But ofc whatever the majority decide.
March 17Mar 17 I’ll say A purely because there’s so many competitors in the wildcard round, that it feels like more exciting stakes for what is now the majority of the people taking part. And I think double eliminations will help keep the pace going well anyway, in what is already a long competition so it increases the jeopardy and fun each time.
March 17Mar 17 At the moment I’d put Lily, Blondie and The Weeknd as the favourites to come back, but obviously will depend on what everybody chooses.
March 17Mar 17 I think this next round could be killer because, yes, on paper, those like Lily are the biggest artists. But I imagine a lot of the earlier exits will just shoot their biggest hitter out now to get back in. I’m talking Toni Braxton, Ace Of Base, Shawn Mendes etc.

March 17Mar 17 It does feel on paper a little unfair to the earlier eliminated artists but as Rob says above some of them still have monster hits to put out and if ever there was a time to do so it's now.Brutal doesn't even begin to describe the struggle.

Intrigued to see what songs are picked. I don't think anyone will be going with a weak link at this point as it's one shot to get back. If you make it back in then hopefully some themes will come up where you can choose lesser hits/album tracks again later.

March 17Mar 17 The more I think of it I believe the previous one on one elimination round was too hard, because to many artists were eliminated in one round. It would have been possible to define lucky losers, so that the 4 losers with the highest percentages would also qualify for the next round. In addition the 8 losers of the one on one battles lost one big song, which was saved for those earlier eliminated. I would have found it more fair to let only the 8 losers of the last round to compete each other.

Had we not had BranchGate, it would've been 24 acts 🤣I guess you could've had bigger cuts during the Auditions/ Bootcamp/ Judges Houses, rather than 1 big cut at the battles. But then at least a large number of acts got to showcase at least 5+ songs. Edited March 17Mar 17 by ElectroBoy
