February 25Feb 25 Nothing Lasts Forever is magnificent and by far my favourite in this SF."Time's running out the door you're running in" is a particularly memorable lyric.
February 25Feb 25 Some of the tracks I thought were sure to make the finals have dropped out so early! Blue Boy and Bunnymen especially, shame they both couldn't progress.

February 26Feb 26 That's a big loss from Bob Marley - not too surprised as it had so few voters in round 1. His best song for me.

February 26Feb 26 My dad was at the time a fan of Savage Garden so the release of 'Insatiable' was a big event - very good track.Close (To The Edit) is good too, a precursor to house music a few years later.1 hour ago, GreyAsh said:This was in my shortlist until I played it and remembered it was not as good as the original release which peaked higher.I also much prefer the original with the rave synths. The video of the 2008 version though was ahead of its time about a viral dance craze. Edited February 26Feb 26 by TheSnake

February 26Feb 26 No Woman No Cry not making it is a surprise! Violet Hill is one of Coldplay's best. The original Something Good is way better than the 08 remix.
February 26Feb 26 'No Woman No Cry' is good but a sad song too.Thought a Bob Marley remix ('Is this Love' ft Lvndscape and Bolier) made the top 10 in 2016 but actually it only got to #16.

Though it also helps that it reminds me of a relationship I was in at the time as that was "our song" lol.
