Twenty One Pilots at #22.

Probably won't stay Top 40 but hoping for another Top 75 in the bag there.

There was me thinking it was all luck... or something.

  • Someone on Twitter says she’s currently “Top 4” so I’ll take that as #4 😂 Wonder if she can hold up or inevitably fall as the week goes on. Edit: That someone on Twitter being Leigh-Anne herself 😭😂

  • It was being actively promoted in my local HMV but I just assumed it was an old release being spotlighted. It's actually had a CD and vinyl reissue this week!

These charts are getting beyond a joke, The top 3 has an average of 43 weeks each in the charts! The 1950's were even more dynamic. As for the four new entries currently showing in the top 40, there is a good chance none of them will be there on Friday.

Not really a lot you can do when we are almost at the end of February and we only had 2 big releases in harry and Bruno this year

The only chance So Easy has of going number 1 is if Rein Me In finally goes to ACR or she performs So Easy on Saturday. I wouldn’t mind her doing it as a medley with Man I Need and in my honest opinion regarding Rein Me In, it wouldn’t have gone to number 1 without Olivia Dean so if anything, he should be thanking her for helping him score his first number 1

That’s a music industry/record company issue rather than the charts - we’ve had hardly any major new releases.

Seeing December 10 there was a surprise.

Guessing it’ll plummet when streaming gets added they are there due to CD/Vinyl sales from the HMV signing and their recent tour.

I assume 'Opalite' overperforms on Amazon, remember it was surprisingly high on last week's First Look as well.

(don't think the remixes have anything to do with it, they have pithy streaming numbers)

People keep forgetting how well Opalite is doing on Apple. It’s currently the 3rd highest SCR track there, ahead of Bruno, Zara and Bad Bunny.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks.

Thank God that at #2 it’s George Michael. I hope it stays in the Top 5. That would be an amazing success!

Yes! The double red marble vinyl release is available everywhere.

Oooooh, Hilary Duff looks like she should get her highest charting album this week.

I know 2015 was a different time, but her last one only made #93! I wasn't sure there was a great deal more interest this time.

Shocked to find out her highest-charting album is 2007's Dignity which got to #25. o Had no idea her Metamorphosis only scraped top 70 also. o

The fact Leigh-Anne is not even top 3 with several months of preorders + multiple variants is very worrying.

This week has been pretty quiet in terms of competition. There haven’t been any major album releases to speak of. And yet, despite all the efforts being made to boost sales — another variant added to her store and even a raffle for a chance to win a personal call with her if you purchase the album through her website — she still can’t manage to secure a Top 3 spot.

They are also selling cassettes with bonus content for £11.99 at her signings - in fairness to her team and Leigh-Anne they have thrown everything at this album but I guess no big hit single has failed to attract any new fans.

Erm the fact she is even top 5 given mumfords, George Michael's (and even Hillary is on a big label) when its practically a self release is actually impressive (nothing from it has even trouble the top 100 unlike her LM counterparts)
