I enjoyed the Chicks and Kitten songs unexpectedly, the bottom 2 don't feel like they deserve that but it's just such a tough category.

Another brilliant HAIM choice - I downloaded this and IICCYM when their debut was released as the standout tracks alongside the 3 singles I already had. I vaguely recognised the Blondie one, a great choice regardless. 3-7 are all good and Atomic Kitten's is OK (was 'Whole Again' really the template for everything they did since though). Afraid I didn't get much from the last two - I'd have got behind anything from The Chicks' Wide Open Spaces album which I've played on a few road trips.

Quite a weak round for me personally. Although I really like Blondie, AK and Florence’s this week. Corrs, SS, Haim and Chicks all decent. 1975 and ABBA ok but definitely not one of the best ABBA song choices.. Erasures one just not for me

Great discovery from Erasure, more good picks from Florence and HAIM, a lite banger from The 1975 (bit random to be sending a remix but sure why not), decent from Blondie, Scissors and The Corrs, ok from ABBA, didn't care for the last two.

4 Blondie - Shayla (Debbie’s vocals make this but it’s good lyrically too)

5 The Chicks - Lullaby (a very nice wistful track)

6 Scissor Sisters - Skin Tight (good though does feel like an album track to me)

7 The Corrs - Hideaway (starts promisingly but doesn’t get beyond lukewarm)
