If it's got a chance of winning then I hope it is disqualified. So grating, got my -2

  • That section book-ended with two long-term favourites *.* it was great to see Fontaines achieving a top 40 single too even if not quite their best work.

Anything but Dracula. Honestly, I'd take Rein Me In over Dracula

Miley at 7 , Gaga at 5 🙌🙌

Cmon Jade you can do it gurl, 💪 wouldnt be totally disappointed if Dracula won though

Great top 2! Love both. JADE is my favourite of the two, one of the best songs from last year. But it would be iconic if Dracula wins, and then makes the top 20 this Friday!

Happy to see 'Headphones On' in the top 10 wub I enjoyed some of Addison's earlier material (especially 'Aquamarine') but that properly cemented me as a fan.

What a year for PinkPantheress too. 'Tonight' was an almighty banger to kick off the era with!

'Berghain' going top 40 was a surreal chart moment in the best way and I've got back into it all over again post-BRITs, she is such a star.

I prefer the #5-#3 section to the actual top 2 but rooting for JADE from what's left

#01 Tame Impala - Dracula

Released as the fourth single from Jade's debut solo album, 'FUFN' became the second after 'Angel of My Dreams' to reach the top 40 for the former Little Mix member. It soon proved to just be a fanbase-led hit however, departing the chart altogether after a fortnight. The song was tailor-made for the pop lovers of Buzzjack however, so it is to no surprise that it was a very strong contender to win this poll. Another Buzzjack fave in Raye was involved alongside Jade in the songwriting.

This only means it is congratulations to Tame Impala whose 'Dracula' is now an honorary UK top 20 hit. The Australian one man band had been a cult favourite for over a decade and had a number of sleeper successes such as 3x platinum 'The Less I Know The Better'. However an actual top 40 hit had evaded him until last year when it was time for his fifth album 'Deadbeat'. 'Dracula' was the third single taken from it and a much more commercially-friendly release than the previous two which led to it instantly giving his best chart performance before eventually just narrowly missing a top 20 spot upon the album's release. However a remix with Blackpink's Jennie has given it a second lease of life in the chart where a future actual top 20 position is not entirely out of the question at this point... But for now at least, this is a brilliant choice of winner!

So, it's 99% guaranteed Jade will be acclaimed as the true number 1 here, right?

Would of been nice for Jade to get it without being promoted if Dracula does maintain its midweek chart position

But top 2 if it doesnt is still great and Dracula is also a worthy winner

Love that, take out the retro songs and that was the best song on this list imo. If it loses its title here it can go for the other one next year!

Also that Jennie remix sucks HARD.

Loving both of the top 2! And iconic that Dracula is in the latest top 20 Chart Update and is still growing! 🤣

Sorry I didn’t get round to either of these polls but thanks for running Dan. Yay for “Dracula” winning even if it will have to return the crown in short order. Great to see “Berghain” and “Fame Is A Gun” up there too.
