I think The Chicks really will be flying the nest this time!

I quite like that Ruel has 'I Can Die Now' and The Chicks have a chorus that includes the lyric 'Strut the f*** around like you've got nothing to lose'

So poetic! Both have done really well to get this far, especially against much more established artists (throw Lisa in there as well!)

Shame The Chicks are getting so many low rankings for a great song.

Once they do go then the groups will absolutely be dependent on song choice because all eight of the others seem more or less on an even keel in people's votes.

02 Scissor Sisters - Let’s Have a Kiki the cvntiness, the camp, the beat... LOVE this!

03 HAIM - Want You Back whoever is behind HAIM is doing a stellar job so far! Another strong choice from HAIM. One of my faves from them.

04 The Corrs - Summer Sunshine this is going straight on my summer playlist! Great discovery.

05 Blondie - Sunday Girl always really enjoyed this.

06 Florence + the Machine - My Love great discovery from Florence.

07 Erasure - Chorus fab production on this! Aptly the chorus is my favourite part.

08 The Chicks - Julianna Calm Down another solid discovery from the Chicks.

09 Atomic Kitten - Eternal Flame I do like this - it was actually the song that got me into them back in '01 - but difficult to compete with the others this round!

1. The Corrs - such an amazing pop song, I firmly believe if this had been released in their Breathless era it would have been another number one

2. Haim - adore this song and the video is wonderfully simplistic and awesome

5. Atomic Kitten - bought this when it came out and loved it, then heard the original and I liked this less! But still a solid choice

My favourite The Corrs song. BANGER! One of my favourite ABBA songs too. I *do* know that HAIM track after all and it's one of my favourites from them. Nice Atomic Kitten song, not a fave of theirs for me though! I also do in fact know this Blondie song. I like it, but it was starting to grate the more it went on... Fun Scissor Sisters song, but quite annoying too. I like the music to Florence but her voice really does just pierce right through me. Erasure suffered from the same thing they have been doing... started off well but then went on and on. My least favourite The Chicks song that has been sent too. Just so... nothingy to me.
