March 10Mar 10 I didn’t love Deeper Well as much as I wanted to but Golden Hour will always be an all time favourite so I’m forever in her pocket for any album going forward as a result.
March 10Mar 10 Golden Hour is honestly one of the best albums I have ever heard and play it on the regular!Deeper well was fine, it was gentle, it was pleasant but just didn’t have an oomph to it to make me want to go back and listen repeatedly.Looking forward to this new era, she’s hyping it, it sounds fun / funky and she has done some really enjoyable duets in the last few years so I hope she has a few guest appearances too in return.

March 12Mar 12 Golden Hour is my all time favourite album, I found Star Crossed a colossal disappointment and Deeper Well was fine just not what I wanted. I feel like this is an amalgamation of her STDP/Paegant Material/Golden Hour, all of which I adore, so it’s definitely a good sign for this album! Absolutely buzzing for a Miranda Lambert collab!!
March 18Mar 18 Dry Spell has really got me, absolutely love it.At first, I kind of wanted a little more “umph”, but have come to appreciate the dead pan kind of fed up delivery of it and it just feels so authentic, almost like she’s telling a girlfriend “yep I’m going through a dry spell gurl”. Lyrics like “nobody but the chickens are getting laid” feels like the countrified way of saying “and I can’t even get a text back”. Awesome
March 23Mar 23 Can’t believe I didn’t comment yet… dry spell is soooooo good. It’s so catchy and addictive, been on repeat, so so fun and very relatable 😭😭😭 loving this so far, can’t wait for a new kacey album
