Spotify remains to be seen but I must've overestimated the level of hype for the new Kanye as he's barely making any impact on Apple - only 3 songs in the top 200 at the moment.

Not that surprising tbh. His music had been on a quality downward spiral since 2018 (many Kanye fans acknowledge that 2016's The Life of Pablo is the last good album he’s made) and the impact his other albums post 2018 have gotten is due him being one of the most monocultural artist still active, which he burned off causals after going full Nazi in 2022, even if they still listen to the older classics.

Vultures 1 in 2024 was the exception purely because it was his first full projection after imploding his career in 2022.

Bigger Kanye impact on Spotify, highest track at 29 though so hopefully they fall off. Rein Me In finally number one!

still thankfully not that big of an impact, not that much better than Vultures 2, and I expect the falloff will be quick
