I've always loved that Protocol song and I remember dancing to it in indie clubs in the late 2000s so I knew I just had to enter it for this theme! I had no idea how it would do so I'm just happy to have finished top half thanks to the final set of votes!

Another BuzzJack bridesmaid dress for me Thank you to all the voters, I did have an inkling this could be a hit and is why I probably wanted to send it to BJSC all those years ago. Nice to have some vindication that I was onto something at the time, and delighted a theme finally came up in something where it felt perfect, and not just shoehorned in for the sake of it. My favourite in Bassvictim did far worse than I expected, I seem to give Ansel high points in quite a lot of these non BJSC contests! Thanks for the great discovery (again). Shame Matto's Unbewegt just missed the top ten too.

Seems the votes for my song kinda dried up towards the end 😆 Was hoping to remain in the top 10 after being in it for so long but happy enough with 11th! A little annoying that it's my third entry in various contests that has finished in 11th place in recent months haha. Lamb - One came 11th in Bop Idol and Happy Rhodes - Winter came 11th in The Best Song Contest in the World... Ever! I believe years ago it has also happened twice in BJSC (in the same year) haha.

Well done AllStar on another anonymous contest win! That was my ten pointer so very happy with that winner, I pointed all of that top 3 and my 12 and 8 pointers are in the top 10 as well. Lunatic Calm was used on so many adverts when I was growing up, it was great to be able to finally put a name to it!

Oops at being almost entirely snubbed by that last set of voters and falling to 7th, but I'd have felt a bit guilty winning with a fairly cheap name by song contest standards so I'll just enjoy this being my first top 10 in a while here!

I must've not remembered Lost Cool from the Substance, but I knew there was a reason I liked it! Great to see that do quite well too x

Thank you to everyone that voted for 'Unarchiver'. I wasn't expecting much after hearing the other entries. Lots of nice tunes that stood out and the throwback and party factor would help them too. Plus my history here is largely bottom half finishes.

I could have sent something 2019 or earlier but they might be more suited for Bop Idol.

Congratulations AllStar this one didn't get my votes, but your Blood Cultures one in BJSC sounds quite up my street from one SF2 listen, so that might! Happy to see my top scorer in second place, an utter joy of a remix for that Belle and Sebastian song, not a million miles from 'Together In Electric Dreams'!

I'll take 18th, glad those 2 points from Dan prevented me from finishing 21st for a sixth time in all contests.

well that’s another extremely disappointing result. I actually considered it for BJSC last month but went for Magdalene instead and clearly that was the correct choice

I’m actually considering whether or not I want to continue with CB at this rate, maybe if the next theme isn’t too my tastes then I’ll sit it out but to keep it 💯 not a lot of the songs did it for me this round. I liked the ones that I voted for but to not enjoy the crop and see that not a lot of people enjoyed my song either is kinda deflating. thanks to those who voted for SEXTILE I guess
