Agree, regardless of thoughts on the song I actually like it when we see a song become massive, and the continuous comments about how much people hate it on here makes me stream it more 🤣

I domt mind it doing this well either, I was just enjoying the fast turnover asit was quite refreshing but alas all things come to an end

The only time I’ve ever listened to Rein Me In on my own accord is on my Now 122 CD

Thats makes no sense if ACR didn't exist , RMI would still have half of its weeks at number 1 , MIN would potentially be as high as 18 weeks at number 1

The charts would be even more stagnant with ACR 😅

I think we have a bigger issue that the charts are clogged up with significantly older songs that are combatting ACR due to their popularity - they are becoming like the album charts Greatest Hits, and looking at Spotify there are more and more older songs taking off, I feel like as streaming has matured so has the demographic with everyone of all age groups streaming now.

Imagine being a new artist trying to combat this.

5 years is a long time in albums but I guess he has a loyal fanbase and his two #1’s were relatively close together with a 10k+ drop for the 2nd one (21k opening) - I guessed it would do well, just didn’t expect #1.
