My understanding is the top 3 selling physicals are included (4th / 5th etc are excluded)

So for a re-release like Last Christmas the new variants sold more that week so counted and the older pressings weren’t included.

Alex Warrens top 3 selling formats will be included that week (Whether thats 3 vinyls or a mix of formats?)

To be honest I think it was more a cash grab than helping the charts….If it was to help it’s chart position they would have been timed for release week.

I had always understood that it was the first three variants to be released, and that for variants released at the same time, the record company would choose. But, I don’t know where I got that from, so it’s probably wrong.

Pretty much this by the looks of it! Technically it is the first three formats "unless the record company elects a different combination before release"...

Though, as we all know, the OCC make things up as they go along 🤣 I imagine in practice, if they're planning a reissue, previous versions are 'deleted' in favour of the new variant(s) - either that or the reality is that the OCC actually just use the 3 highest sellers of the week (it's just not confirmed anywhere).

I wonder if Beauty And A Beat will go top 10 if it gets reset

Very likely. It's number 4 on UK Spotify today (and number 1 on Global Spotify).

It's daily placings on Global Spotify have gone 149-86-18-3-1, which must surely be the quickest that an "old song" has gone globally viral?

Candlelight should have been a top ten staple for weeks

I agree, Jack Savoretti is so talented yet so underrated, I find him having amazing songs such as “What more can I do”, “who’s hurting who”, “Music’s too sad without you”with Kylie Minogue, “Too much history”, “candlelight “, “Youth & Love” etc which in my opinion are way better than Alex Warren, Noah Kahan & Teddy Swims combined. Hopefully this album will reach number 1 and put him in headlines again.

I agree, he is hugely underrated, written in the stars is another huge fave of mine along with Music’s too sad without you”with Kylie Minogue which is my fave song on her Golden album.

Olivia has the number 1 album in the bag,

Written In Scars is definitely one of my favourites. I lost my love of ‘Music’s Too Sad…’ pretty quickly. Both artists have much better ballads.

Not when King Biebs gets reset cheeseblock

Very low sales on this week's album chart. Olivia might just get to #1.

Very close from 3-6 in the singles I would imagine! I’d love for Alex to stay on in the top 3 - and Sombr to stay top 5 as well - maybe even 4.

Sad that Jack Savoretti probably won’t be number 1 - but I feel his last few albums have lost him some fans (even if two of them got to number 1).

#2 would still be great for Jack at this stage of his career.

Hoping Alex can hold on to #3 in the singles and then climb a place the following week with the physicals being released.

No might, i think its a given now, Jacks lack of streaming will kill his chances completely and its a case now if he will end up at number 2 or 3 as i would also think Raye is a threat to pulling ahead of him, Top 3 is still great for Jack but id have loved another number 1 album for him.

no no get risk it all out…

US AGAINST THE WORLD SHAKING ASS IN THE PARKING LOT! can’t believe pinky up is becoming a hit 😭.

all these coachella boosts (not resets) for sabrina and sombr yet they won’t reset any of justin’s songs? ‘Beauty And A Beat’ should be top 10 rn… maybe even ‘DAISIES’ too

The automatic resets don't take place until Friday's chart.

Wonder if the beiber boosts could even go top 10 on albums
