I had actually considered entering him, I have a real soft spot for all his solo material, it's leagues ahead of Take That! Sadly I fear he's not the sort of artist that would do well in Pop Factor :/

His solo stuff is one of my favourite music discoveries of the last couple of years! Pretty much the whole second album is amazing but Stars may well have crept up to be his best song for me

lol, my ex got around too, he’s been married three times and cheated on all three of them (plus me) 😂 swerved that one! 😮‍💨

I also like some of Mark’s solo stuff but then, (unlike @Tafty 🤭), i like a bit of Take That too! Oh and I love Robbie’s stuff 🥰

In Your Own Time is easily in my top 5 albums of all time, it's so underrated! 'Stars' is OK but that's his only album that missed the mark for me, oops. And nothing wrong with a bit of off topic discussion when it comes to Mark x

How The Mighty Fall is a close third for me (after IYOT and Green Man) but honestly those first three albums are all amazing, not one single skip on them!

His album post CBB I remember loving at the time and still return to a fair amount of his output too. Deserved way more success!

Take That was actually my third thought on who to use here if I hadn't got Delta or The Corrs, but then I realised they have an artist forum. I love a lot of Mark's stuff too.

I feel like all five acts are still in with a shot, maybe Scissor Sisters behind the chances of the other four, but I hope Lily can progress because Smile is one of my favourite songs ever, such a refreshing debut and style at the time and brings back such good memories of the amazing summer 2006 for me. So much hope in the air! Bit worried for her though, gah.

But fully backing Conan and his mentor both to progress here and even to win this competition overall for converting so many new fans (getting this far with so few people knowing the songs is such an achievement!). I hope there is one killer song left in the bag in case he gets to the second part of the final.
