'New Religion' is climbing hugely on Apple Music, now up to #20!

I really hope it has managed to avoid ACR.

It’s one of the top 5 songs in their main summer playlist.

I just listened to that song and it interpolates 'Macarena' *_* there's something in the air with these school disco dance craze classics as Drake's 'Cheetah Print' samples 'Cha Cha Slide' also lol

I can't stop listening to Boompala. UK number 1 please. D

New Religion up to #12 now!! Remember also up to #175 (+23) 🫣

The one that will probably avoid ACR too is Midnight Sun, it's 33k above what it did last week, almost on its peak streams (peak 228k and today 226k).

I assume R1 Big Weekend will give it a bit of a boast as well, her extended vocal of run of the word ‘Sun’ at the festival is already making rounds on social media

Anyone know the last time a song went top ten on Apple without charting in the Spotify 200?

I want to say Sonny Fodera's 'Somedays' hit the Apple top 10 while not being top 200 on Spotify and proceeded to be a staple in the top 10 for a long time. (And in fact right now it's #20 on Apple and not charting on Spotify).

‘Go’ is the no1 on this playlist and it’s at 4 currently!

So hoping Olivia Dean does not perform RMI tomorrow to give that an unneeded boast

I’d be hugely surprised if she doesn’t given how big the songs has been for her in this era. It’s one of the biggest songs of the decade now.

What a miserable timing if it indeed is on ACR this week...

But the streams on AM beyond the top must be fairly low considering songs like I Ain't Worried, Heat Waves and React just appear out of nowhere just like that thanks to one weather related playlist.

She doesn’t perform it without Sam to be fair, so I don’t imagine she will.

Not that Big Weekend will have much impact though I think.

New Religion might chart soon on Spotify, yesterday it had its best streaming day globaly.

Not quite, it did 749K & it debuted with 901K. However with how much it jumped on Apple yesterday surely it’ll still re-enter

I thought it did manage one day in the Spotify top 200 at some point? Have I imagined that 👀

It managed two, one on the first day and it re-entered on one day a short while later.

Anticipated they will be performing it - Sam has been spotted in the local area.

Can see it happening - 3 months at the top, smash hit of 2026 and (almost) a hometown crowd.

New Religion re-peaks at #12 on Apple!! Promising sign given it first hit it at around 7pm yesterday

all a bit in vain really if it’s headed to ACR (unless it can miraculously increase by 25% this week?!)

I feel like it would need to re enter the Spotify chart and climb a good bit on there to have a 25% increase if it has indeed gone to ACR

Olivia only down to #4 is actually not as steep of a drop as I thought we’d see. Seems promising for its potential longevity.
