It first charted 6 months earlier as just 'Love Story' making it to 30 then only to peak at 8 in January 2003. The song uses samples from Nina Simone's 'Rags and Old Iron' and Devo's 'Mongoloid' with the Finally portion of the single using a vocal from house project The King's Of Tomorrow with Julie McKnight which reached 17 in the Billboard Dance club songs chart in 2000.
