But only for artists they like 😉

  • “2 MJ resurgence songs lingering around”. You’ve read it wrong and then proceeded to try and correct me for no reason other than to condescend. I’d rather you didn’t, thank you.

Official Charts Report

Rein Me In clearly didn’t enjoy being knocked off its chart-topping throne!

After three weeks away from the summit, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s hit track, which celebrated its one-year anniversary on Saturday (20 June), has been given a special 7” pink vinyl release to commemorate the milestone and as a result, is pursuing an incredible 14th week at the top, possibly drawing level with Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and Shape of You from Ed Sheeran for most weeks at the top.

A slew of tracks are on course for new peaks!

These include Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas, which is set to break the Top 10 (10), Free Your Mind from Prospa and Cloonee (12), Silva Bumpa’s On 2nite (14), Official Charts Ones To Watch recipient Sienna Spiro with Material Lover (15), Talk To You from ANOTR and 54 Ultra (16), Stella Lefty’s Boston (17), and Mac Miller featuring Ty Dolla $ign’s Cinderella (26). Some top hits looking to shake up the surroundings!

Up the Tartan Army! Nick Morgan’s No Scotland, No Party, the unofficial team anthem originally released to celebrate Scotland’s inclusion in Euro 2024 and has now been revived for their 2026 World Cup participation, is set to make its maiden appearance inside the main charts (32).

Two former Number 1’s aim to climb in Harry Styles’ Sign of the Times (20) and WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! from RAYE (22).

Finally, a pure summer banger in Blessings from Calvin Harris featuring Clementine Douglas looks to jump significantly (27).

I hope Olivia is able to claim her rightful no1 this week

Which Olivia? It doesn’t matter to be honest, as Jack Saunders thinks they are interchangeable.

Do we know that Taylor still has physicals to be shipped? If not, she isn't likely to be #1 with a song that is #13 on AM and #29 on Spotify.

Hopefully Olivia (Dean and Sam Fender) does reclaim her rightful claim and the pink vinyls of Rein me in arent too limited

Really hope RMI can snatch it - they’ve got so close to equaling the longest running British artist #1 that they may as well go for it.

The Pink Vinyl is limited to 1 per person so guessing they haven’t produced a ton of them.

Fingers crossed the fabled ACR clearout happens! The top 20 has been so stagnant this year

It appears that Choosin Texas has survived so hoping it can inch towards the top 10 again this week.

It’s back up to its highest peak of #11 on Spotify too so this might be the week it happens.

Seen lots of Sony ads on socials too promoting the iTunes download.

Looks like this will finally get a new peak this week!

I might not be able to listen to Friday's charts because I will in York until Saturday (we're going on the Wednesday) but I'll look on the Official Charts website at 5:45pm to see who's no. 1.
