omg can we not start the "Christmas rush" talk in June 😭

If 3 Lions has charted this past fortnight with 1 game each per week, it’s surely gonna reach a new 2026 peak on Friday, with it having 2 match days during the chart tracking period?!

Hoping for some decent streams today at least anyway ❤️

Even if Rein Me In does unfortunately get the record, Last Christmas will eventually overtake Rein Me In in a couple of years time

So to get the record of non-consecutive weeks at No.1, Rein Me In needs to get to 19 weeks to beat the 18 of I Believe?

So 5 more weeks yet.

And Last Christmas is on 12 so needs another 7 weeks to reach the record.

Last Christmas tends to spend about 2-3 weeks at number 1 every year so could overtake by the end of the decade

Not convinced RMI will make it - I think ACR will kick in before then.

Equally not convinced Last Christmas will either.

Agreed about RMI but what's stopping Last Christmas? I don't know see how it won't spend 1-2 weeks at Christmas each year at least for the foreseeable future.

The only way last christmas wont get it is if OCC amend their rules in the next few years

Although interesting note the 2 weeks it was number 1 last christmas season its sales were 42k and 93k (the week in between kylie blocked they did 46k)

So hyperthetically the OCC doesnt change their rules its still going to take a good few years to get the record anyway

Either that or another Christmas song overtakes it as the most popular festive offering!

It will take something very huge, we thought maybe the ed sheeran one might be that but even that couldnt dominate for more than a year
