July 5Jul 5 It was pretty sad to see that BYL went top 30 on Spotify in May and now none of the other tracks couldn't even chart and BYL couldn't re-enter...That said, her US promo has been nonexistent since the Grindr show in New York and dance music in general is hard to sell for GP there. Also the 4th of July weekend didn't help. July 5Jul 5 I think hoping for her to get a hit single in the streaming era is delusional. The album is already achieving more than anyone can hope for for a 67 yo ‘veteran’ female artist. She cannot compete with Taylor or Ariana or Olivia or even Gaga as a streaming artist. 2 days ago I wasn’t sure if she was even gonna get the no1 album against Sienna in the UK or Olivia in the US, which is not even a done deal yet. July 5Jul 5 Can we all pull our fingers out and download this on iTunes and Amazon, if Kylie was #20 in the first look her fans would never let her fall out of the top 40. Don’t let me down gays
July 5Jul 5 Definitely keep streaming and purchase (there are three iTunes editions the ICON edition and the FILM edition) especially with the England match and football related tracks likely to dominate we need to ensure it sneaks in the top 40!

July 5Jul 5 There's no way it'll fall out of the top 40, as it's holding reasonably well on Apple I'm hopeful it can even remain top 30.
July 5Jul 5 If Danceteria remains top 40, then this will be Madge's first album to have multiple top 40 hits since "Hard Candy".

Don’t let me down gaysDancing was Top 20 for Kylie in the mids - we managed to help it cling to a #38 entry 🤣The Madge fans really need to get behind the downloads seeing as sales in the Top 40 seem so close atm.

The most you can contribute from Spotify in one week is 0.7 sales (iirc), whereas if you download multiple times from multiple stores the impact will be much greater (bc obviously). So yes streaming is important but “streaming parties” will always have a very limited impact, Kylie fans understand that downloads and physicals still have power when a fanbase is mobilised!
