July 2Jul 2 I first discovered this on Glee when the character Quinn was, of course, deciding whether to keep her baby Wow 40 years, such bold subject matter for the era indeed and I really enjoy the strings in the production too.
July 3Jul 3 My favourite Madonna song of all time! From the second the beats start in the opening I am hooked in and ready to sing at the top of my voice "PAPA I KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO BE UPSET!"It's really one of her pivotal moments that showed she was more than just a "pop" star, she could sing about important subjects and was going to push the boundaries from here on out.

Nice summery Spanish and synthpop production mix. She would explore Spanish influences moree in course in 1987.The chorus melody is strong, I found a comment online a while ago that said the chorus melody is very similar to Classix Nouveaux - Is It A Dream from 1982 and it is!
