Happy for Shakira. She will join Elton, Kylie, Madonna and Britney in the “Didn’t think they would get another top 10” club this decade.

Official Charts Report

Recovered from last night? We most certainly haven't!

As the country celebrated England’s progression to the World Cup semi-final, a slew of football related hits are on course to push their way up the standings!

So, let’s begin. Following a viral video of Three Lions defender John Stones faking an injury, before activating into dance to ANOTR’s Talk To You, the track may be on for a 12-place climb, currently sat at Number 2.

The WC 2026 anthem Dai Dai from Shakira and Burna Boy is also on for a nine-spot rise (4), as Wonderwall, a track that’s become synonymous with England’s success as of late, may re-enter the Top 10 (8).

It’s coming home? Patriotic banger Three Lions courtesy of Baddiel, Skinner and The Lightning Seeds is looking to re-enter the Top 20 (16), while 2010 track Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) may boogie its way into Top 40 contention (34).

After their record-breaking moment on Friday in which their hit track became the longest running British single at Number 1, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In is destined for a 17th week at the top, surpassing Bryan Adams’ (Everything I Do) I Do It For You as a result.

Free Your Mind from Prospa and Cloonee (3) is one of several tracks destined to climb the chart this week.

This includes SIENNA SPIRO’s Material Lover (12), On 2nite from Silva Bumpa (13), Hugel’s Movin’ To The Sun (15), Stella Lefty on Boston (17), and two Calvin Harris tracks in Blessings with Clementine Douglas (24), and Jazzy link-up Satisfy (26).

British DJ Josh Baker may earn his first ever Top 40 accolade with My Place featuring Poppy Baskcomb (25). A huge moment in the works for Josh! Poppy may also see her collaboration with MK on Zone permeating the Top 40 too (31).

Finally, and following her incredibly sad death this week, Total Eclipse of the Heart from the legendary Bonnie Tyler could re-emerge inside the main standings (39).

Love Oasis, hate wonderwall but have a feeling it could finally make it to number 1 and as much as I hate it it's an iconic song that has sold huge and most would assume it was a number 1 hit so it maybe it should legitimately be a number 1.

Wouldnt be so bad but you know the coverage is going to be big if it does it , then if England actually do win it could be there ages

I'd have thought Three Lions would go to #1 over Wonderwall if anything. I know Wonderwall is charting higher now and is more "the song of the moment" but if England do win the "it's coming home" sentiments would multiply tenfold and push more people to stream that. Be an interesting mini-battle to observe.

Also hope we see Vindaloo and Sweet Caroline re-enter the top 40 after both doing so in 2021 but not any other recent tournaments.

^^ Agree. As much as Wonderwall is the end of game anthem I think Three Lions if we win will be everywhere - all over TV and radio so would give them the edge plus they have new physicals this year.

Come Through Hugel and Ultra Nate. Movin To The Sun hopefully breaks to the top 20 this week

Didn't expect those number 1 contenders !

As Ellie Goulding sings since from 2012, "Anything Could Happen". 😉
