Of course to clarify, this is for normal (non Xmas) songs for most weeks at number one etc., but Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have joined Frankie Laine in total amount of weeks at number one in the UK.

It's for any song, Christmas or otherwise

Radio 1 ignoring the fact that Rein Me In equals the all time record for weeks at number 1.

Which I would have stated if I was on the show hosting.

He just attempted to say that it would break that record next week, but mucked it up a bit...

Or maybe they’re fed up of Rein Me In being number 1. If I was announcing it on radio 1, I’d say "Rein Me In has unfortunately tied with Frankie Laine for most weeks at number 1"

Saving the celebrations for next week when they break it

Fantastic top 2 did not expect a top 2 for Shakira and Burna Boy , I cant see it getting higher now though

More than 1 top 100 entry this week yay!

Fat Papi almost top 40 o

Missed the chart this week as I was driving home and my car radio is broken at the minute but I’ve just caught up. Glad hit the wall is the Gracie song in, as it’s one of the stronger on the record, though overall it’s a quality drop for her. Orbiter making it in is lovely to see, wish willing & able could also make it at some point. Nice to see the cure back in the top 10 plus 3 sienna tracks in the top 20, but I’d like to see Die on this hill go back to ACR so he’s not my baby in his could maybe chart? Loving that one. Happy for shakira getting another top 2 hit!

I’ll celebrate when Last Christmas eventually breaks the record even though I hate Last Christmas

ACR was invented in part to ensure no song could ever come close to matching Frankie Laine's record never mind beating it. Well the biggest egg is on their face now and will be even more so next week! The Rein never ends party
