Yes. It's doing over 15 million views/day globally. It did ~2.9 million views in the UK last week. Looking likely to do over 3 million this week if it keeps up.

Ooh, wonderful! Time for me to download Dai Dai on iTunes finally then. It would be helpful if it was reduced to 59p although as I understand it the proceeds of the song go to charity so I doubt they will do that.

I was thinking earlier how a Shakira greatest hits is so long overdue (she only has a Spanish one called Grandes Exitos that covers 1995-2001 Spanish hits). At this point it would probably have to be at least two discs, as she has so many hits in both English and Spanish. For all the constant talk of the biggest global female singers, she is very often overlooked but has to be in the conversation when you take the Spanish hits into account too (she is currently the 5th biggest artist in the world on Spotify).

As much as I can’t stand Choosin’ Texas, I’d be happy if that overtakes Rein Me In

Not true, video streaming counts to the chart and has for quite some time now.

Probably was quite a while back, video streaming has counted since 2018!

You might be thinking of YouTube not counting to the Billboard Hot 100 any more - it does still count to the UK charts.

Come on Shakira & Burna boy, get that well deserved number 1 before Ariana's album bomb. Choosin Texas is still growing so hopefully that can have a chance at the top in a couple weeks 🤞
