would be good if the 6 min version falls down itunes and allows the Radio Edit to shine and keep a stable position then somehow get on streaming,

Would not be suprised if another version gets released as the dominant version, like a big DJ remix but looking more doubtful now.

Would love this but even the hype/news of them making the Top 10 didn’t even seem to give it a streaming or iTunes boost.

It still seems strange that Spotify has hardly got it anywhere. Even the Snow Patrol duet got on plenty of playlists early on.

I still therefore think it is being held back a little bit. Even the NMF was a mystery.

Maybe we need to wait for Vinyl + residual CDs etc to be shipped all at the same time to give maybe 5000 sales in one week + another EP of remixes and downloads to give another weekly total of 10k+ and a return to the top 40

I think the reason of the lack of playlisting is that this is not really a focus track atm. BYL and Danceteria are still miles ahead in streaming so this pretty much came out of nowhere just based on a live performance so radio and streaming platforms are fairly confused what to focus on. There was basically zero build-up for this.

Agreed and the other tracks filling up playlists at the moment.

Played 2 tines on Radio 2 today so far. 4.36am and 9.40am

Love Sensation back on the Amazon Music Trending Today chart at 42. The Madonna solo track though, but we will take anything right now

It might manage top 40 that week but if nothing else should see it back in the top 75.

Ya its a harsh fall to be fair.

As I was wearing a Madonna t-shirt at Pride on Saturday I had strangers talking to me about Kylie and Madonna making the charts and how they hoped it would make it to #1.

I felt like a right know-it-all talking about the CD boost and how streaming would not be favourable.

That is a big drop. I guess an early dispatch of vinyls would save it, but I doubt they're ready to go if they haven't been yet.

I’m not surprised since it was already down to like what the 74th best seller by Tuesday last week? Downloads are negligible this week and streaming non-existent. Ahh well, it did its job!

Could still have a good week that week if they release some CD sales that week too and another download.

It was never going to stay remotely high without new downloads and no physicals. Streaming is ok but is vastly reduced. Surprised it’s still top 100.

Even if they do release another download I just can’t see the masses getting behind it - it was different with Padam when we were fighting for a new peak each week.

What would a download achieve? An 8-74 drop rather than 8-out.

Yeah its going to take some hefty vinyl sales otherwise its already peaked they definitely did the right thing sending out the cds early
