It's on every time I tune in!Wonder if there's any chance of MadgeKylie getting on next week.I haven’t been keeping up but assume Dai Dai is a hot recurrent as it’s in the top 5.I can kinda understand Calvin and Harry’s songs being on there for quite a while due to the coverage for Calvin’s homecoming in Hampden last week (which was on bbc) and for the latter he’s one of the biggest pop stars in the world at the moment with one of the years biggest new albums so makes sense to playlist his singles for a long time. I'm now very much tanned and very much back!Don't know why that Harry Styles flop needs to be on the A-list for this long. Calvin also needs to be ditched. I would say I'm hoping for some good new additions next week but there really doesn't seem to be much good new music around at the minute...Satisfy was better when it was called 'Finally', 34 years ago. Monday at 07:492 days Slayyyter it Tune of the Week on R1 breakfast <3When something is already on the C list, does the tune of the week count as there (usually once a day) play of the day, or is it additionally? I think I remember in the past it being like an additional play and they got similar to B-list playlisting playlisting . Edited Monday at 07:522 days by 365

Yesterday at 20:391 day That 2003 playlist reminds me what a headstart on radio White Flag had over Where Is The Love. Such a shame they came out the same week so Dido didn't get a No.1.This was just a few weeks before I started college, I was in the weird no man's land summer holiday between finishing school and starting college (and working my first job that summer), so many songs here remind me of working in Asda and hearing them played in there (Beyoncé, Deepest Blue, Jaimeson), while a few others moving up the playlist ahead of release remind me of my first few weeks at college (Dido, Black Eyed Peas, Christina/Lil' Kim).It also feels notably 'cooler' than the 1999 playlist recently posted when you look at the list of songs that weren't playlisted, so some time between 1999 and 2003 Radio 1 decided to dial down the cheesier and more fun stuff somewhat.I do remember Breathe feeling like it came a bit out of nowhere to No.1 so it figures that Radio 1 weren't playlisting it.
