‘Jolene’ is already below ‘Rein Me In’ on Spotify, and almost below Sienna Spiro.

I assume Dolly will have had the top 3 on Friday on Apple and iTunes (assuming the current charts there are a reflection of Friday) - so could hold up well enough to be number 1 on the First Look Chart.

If so, and if this is publicised enough, it might generate enough interest to carry her through until next Friday.

But otherwise it will be the battle of the 4 songs below ‘Rein Me In’ and could be very close.

hoping Great Expectation or Choosin' Texas overtake but I fear Movin' To The Sun may be the next #1 - it's saying something that STELLA LEFTY's faux-countrified Kahan-oke isn't my least favourite contender (even if it seems the least likely of the four to pull it off)

Personally hoping for either Dolly Parton or Sienna Spiro! Just happy to finally have a new #1 on our hands lol

Whatever it is, it'll feel like a hollow victory when in reality it's nowhere near the real #1 and on such a low sale. We badly need a shakeup (or an overhaul)

Of course it's going to be the worst possible option, which is that Sienna girl.

If it’s between Sienna and Ella, I want it to be Sienna

I originally thought that "Choosin' Texas" would be the next #1, but I'm starting to think it'll now be "Movin' To The Sun". If the former goes to ACR shortly, I believe it'll have a #2 peak.

I’d love for Ella to do it but I’m already just happy it escaped a #35 peak! It’s done way way better than I ever imagined over here. I’m rooting for her to do it though!

If I had the energy I’d compared the Spotify streams of Ella, HUGEL, Sienna and Stella from Friday with last Friday and see who has the greatest momentum.

Looking at that, it could well be Sienna reaching number 1 this week - and Stella is definitely falling away.

Looking like a 4 way battle between Ella, Sienna, Ultra Nate and Dolly.

Whatever the outcome, a female vocalist is likely to get her first UK number 1 single. Interestingly, all of them have already established a career for themselves (with the exception of Stella - who I assume now is not going to be top 3).

How have Ella and Sienna established any more of a career than Stella? They're all new kids on the block.

Come on Ella or Stella - although preference would be Ella (If Dolly is unable to take the #1).

Ella's been around for a few years now in America - she only blew up to superstar status over there this year, but she's been getting decently big country hits for a few years now (you look like you love me and weren't for the wind were both Hot 100 year-end hits).

I'm still not sure of Sienna's potential career longevity but VISITOR's been doing consistently well on the albums chart and she's had a handful of minor hits besides Die On This Hill and Great Expectation (Pure, You Stole The Show, The Visitor and MAYBE.).

Stella didn't have much prior chart success and doesn't seem to have much of a fanbase or traction beyond Boston's success. General discussion of her seems more focused on nepotism allegations (her father co-founded Groupon) or plagiarism (Boston pretty heavily interpolates Stick Season) than around her as an artist and I'd see her being the least likely to stick around longer-term.

Ella seems to have already carved herself out a superstar status. The one song is record-breaking in the US, but other than that she has already had multiple minor hits in the UK.

I make it 6 UK hits and a top 10 album already under her belt. And a silver album - 1 platinum single, 1 gold single and 2 other silver singles (according to Wikipedia).

She’s established herself as a highly successful artist.

Sienna - 7 charted songs, including 4 top 20s, and a silver album that reached number 2. And similar to Ella - 1 platinum, 1 gold and 3 silver singles.

Both are new artists, but both have established themselves very quickly - and both have an album certified silver, which is increasingly rare these days.

Stella: a minor hit album. 1 major hit song that has gone silver - often treated as a novelty. Largely considered a one hit wonder. A second song has reached 34 in the US Country Charts and 87 in the UK. And a 3rd song has reached 40 in the US and 18 in the US Country Charts.

At present Stella is leagues below the others in terms of the extent to which she has established herself.
