Remind me: do we know anything about the format of next week’s First Look Chart other than how long it is?

Nothing's been confirmed but I'd be very surprised if it was anything other than just playing the full top 40 - I don't see them going any lower than that (but it'd be nice if they did as it'd make for a more interesting show probably lol, but for consistency with Friday's show I'd expect top 40 only).

  • Unless chart rules change, Ordinary could be in this top 100 in 10 years time!

It usually climbs during the week, its best platforms are a day behind.

I'm losing hope with Sienna this week (Ella & Stella keep climbing)

i have a feeling they might also do what hits does on their chart and play “up next” tracks too, knowing radio 1 they could cover the whole top 40 in 2 hours so they have the time to kill.

I would like to see Tove Lo go top 100 this week.

Looking forward to the format of the extended first look chart.

We’re going to have some weird and wonderful tracks as so much data is missing (which should mean some tracks getting some exposure which they wouldn’t have otherwise got!).

Will be good to have a full Top 40 FL too.

Expanded FL chart would be a bit alike old 90s officials. With all those fan-only releases with literally no Stream points.

Me like the idea!

Ellie Goulding has just released an expanded version of her new album with a slightly different title.

Bizarre release strategy so far, not helped by the nil promo and cancellation of most of the album launch shows.

What numbers is Hugel pulling on other platforms when quite frankly it's really not doing great on Spotify at all.

Either way, please go away and let Ella take her place back, can't bear the idea of a generic / AI / throwaway track to be number 1 zzz

It's doing well on Amazon / Apple but it was at number 1 on Amazon and it's fallen to 6 so I really don't think it stands a chance especially as Spotify data is missing.

I'm here for SIENNA spending 4 weeks at number 1 now and then overtaking herself when Pure blows up...

Suprised to see President so close to Kasabian - either the latter hasn't sold so well or the former have done way better than I'd expect! (2nd number one album for Charlie Simpson on the way?)

Adéla doing better than Ella Langley and Stella Lefty with their albums, we love to see

Ella Langley's album would probably have a higher peak if it released a few months later, it's had 21 weeks and counting in the Top 100. I can see her next one having a shot at a #1 debut.

She's rumoured to be headlining BST Hyde Park next Summer.

Ella Langley albums been doing alright its steadily gone silver ans still picking up sales, pretty impressive considering it was released in april before Texas had even gathered much momentum

No wonder Ellie is number 10 on the albums. I didn’t know she released an album until now
