I'm surprised Fontaines were allowed in, I thought one of the rules was that the artist had to be pop? I had an indie-ish artist in mind but didn't enter them because I thought they weren't pop enough lol

Also I may as well say now that Guetta was my third choice - but I'm glad I didn't get him judging by some of the comments in the thread about him being a "cheat" act. I'll be keeping a close eye on how Calvin does though and what songs his mentor is allowed to send!

To be totally fair it's just a case of "best fit" I imagine, as opposed to any attempt to minimise Sam's gender identity.
